Zoroastrianism is possibly the world's oldest
monotheistic religion. It focuses on the words of Zoroaster, and focuses on the
cult of Ahura Mazda, the Lord of Wisdom. It also recognizes two opposing
principles that represent good and evil, which is the Spirit Spenta Mainyu and
Angra Mainyu Generous Spirit is destructive. Humans are intimately involved in
this fight, keeping at bay the chaos and destruction through active goodness.
